TEEN AND PARENT DISTRACTED DRIVING AWARENESS PROGRAM


On Wednesday, May 25, from 6:00-8:30p.m., Casey's Amusement Park will be hosting a Teen and Parent Distracted Driving and Parent Awareness Program. The program is desinged to assist teen drivers to make better decisions behind the wheel by experiencing firsthand the dangers associated with distracted driving - but under safe, controlled conditions. PPHS GREENHOUSE PLANT SALE


The Parkers Prairie Horticulture class is having its annual greenhouse sale starting on May 2.
We will be open on school days from 12:30 4:00. We will be selling different varieties of watermelon, cantaloupe, squash, cabbage, broccoli, pumpkins, cucumbers, peppers, tomatoes, zucchini, grapes and flowers.

2ND ANNUAL DAY OF CARING


On the morning of Thursday, May 12, 2016, Parker’s Prairie High School students will do outdoor projects for senior citizens, military veterans, and people who may have a special circumstance. Students will do projects within Parker’s Prairie city limits, including: raking lawns, cleaning out gardens, trimming hedges, and other outdoor projects as needed. ANNUAL SPELLING BEE


On Wednesday, January 13, Twenty-one 5th through 8th grade students took part in the district level spelling bee. Bee champion was 6th grader, Mya Lego, who is eligible to compete at the region spelling bee in Fergus Falls on Tuesday, February 9. Congratulations Mya!

PPHS SILLY SOCK DRIVE


Parkers Prairie High School students recently finished a successful drive collecting silly socks to be distributed to patients at St. Jude's Childrens Hospital. Over 200 pairs of socks were collected and will be delivered through the "Smile" program run by Emersyn Harris of Alexandria.
