Elementary & Early Childhood
Welcome to Parkers Prairie Elementary!
Parkers Prairie Elementary school serves just over 300 students from Pre-K to 6th grade. We are a small school, proud of the relationships and personal attention we are able to maintain with students and families.
At PPES we are constantly working to create an environment where students feel comfortable, safe, and connected, because we know that these are important prerequisites to learning.
The staff members of Parkers Prairie Elementary are committed to providing learning experiences that are meaningful, engaging, and help our students meet state and local standards.
In addition to the traditional curriculum offerings, students at the elementary have opportunities for specialized instruction in the areas of art, science, and technology. A full range of learner support services are available including Special Education, Title I, Targeted Services and Family Outreach.
Panther Kids Club is school age child care offered to all families. Kids Club is open from 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. daily, on many school holidays, and throughout the summer. This program offers working parents a convenient and affordable option for school age care.
The community of Parkers Prairie is committed to offering early learning opportunities to ALL children from birth. Our programming for young children includes Early Childhood Family Education, Early Childhood Special Education, Head Start, and School Readiness.
If you are interested in visiting our school, please call (218) 338-4079 to schedule a time. We'd love to have you come and see all we have to offer.
