We are learning...
- New vocabulary words every day.
- To use our words with teachers and friends.
- To play with our friends, sharing and taking turns.
- To listen and follow directions.
- To love listening to stories and actively participate in story telling.
- Parts of books and that written words have meaning.
- Number concepts to 5. (counting, recognizing, and one to one correspondence)
- Colors and Shapes
- Patterns.
- To rhyme (children that are able to rhyme have an easier time learning to read)
- To cut, draw, color, paint, and glue. (when we do this we are strengthening the hand muscles used to write)
- To explore and ask questions about the world around us.
We are learning that school is a fun place to be!!!
