CHECKING UP ON ACADEMICS |
We are three weeks away from the end of first quarter for all Parkers Prairie School students. Now is a great time to check on their academic progress. Starting next week, parents of high school students will have the chance to see updated grades online from your home computer. Look for a letter explaining the process in the next few days. |

PANTHER BOOSTERS SUPPORTING PARKERS PRAIRIE STUDENTS |

| Anyone interested in helping panther boosters in raising funds to support our students is welcome to join the group at their meetings the first Monday of each month at 6:30 in the high school media center. Voluteers are always welcome. | |

GET FIRED UP FOR FALL ACTIVITIES |
It's once again time to start thinking about the start of the school year and fall sports. This year all the information you need will be available here on the Parkers Prairie School website. There will be no back-to-activities night this year so refer to the link below when you need information or forms for fall activities. |

| Tuesday brought a cloudy, wet start to the school year. However, the rain did nothing to dampen the spirits of the students and staff as they arrived for the first day of the 2010-2011 school year. The Parkers Prairie Schools would like to wish everyone a great beginning of the school year! | |

FALL PLAY TO BE PERFORMED THIS WEEKEND |
| The Parkers Prairie High School Theater Productions class, directed by Karen Lee, will be presenting the play, "The Werewolf's Curse or Hair Today, Gone Tomorrow" by Billy St. John. Performances will take place in the High School Cafeteria on Friday and Saturday(11/19-20) at 7:00 p.m. and Sunday(11/21) at 2:00 p.m. | |

-BEGINNING BAND- SIGN-UP NIGHT |
 |
| Beginning band sign-up will take place on Monday, September 27, from 3:30-6:30 p.m. in the elementary music room. At this meeting you can find out about being in band and your child will have a chance to secure a spot playing his/her 1st or 2nd choice instrument. A representative from Eckroth Music will be there to give information on leasing an instrument. More informaiton here | |

4H BABYSITTING CLINIC AT PARKERS ELEMENTARY |
East Ottertail County 4H will be offering a babysitting clinic for students 5th grade and older on Sept. 20 - 24 at the Parkers Prairie Elementary School. |

PPHS SUMMER HOURS |
 |
The district office in the Parkers Prairie High School building will be open Monday - Thursday from 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Darcy or Becky will be in the front office of the high school on Wednesdays from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
